Skid Steer Loader

Operators will be trained in the efficient and safe operation of a skid steer loader. Topics of discussion include operator responsibilities, safe operating procedures, pre-start checks, maintenance, controls, safety components, auxiliary attachments, steering modes, lift capacity and load limitations. Participants will attend in class theory followed by a practical evaluation in the equipment on an obstacle course. Saskatchewan OHS legislation and standards are reviewed as it pertains to this equipment.
